Rick grew up in the Cleveland area and graduated from St. Joseph High School. He owned a successful contracting business for 35 years. Rick has vast experience as a building official and serves several different cities, both locally and in the Cleveland area. His certifications include Electrical Contractor, Electrical Safety Inspector, Building Inspector, Residential Building Official, Commercial Building Official, Plumbing Inspector, & International Code Council Building Official. He has been a short-term missionary in Central Mexico for the last 20 years. He is very proud of his 3 children and 11 Grandchildren and enjoys traveling to Arizona when the Ohio weather gets too cold. Lorie Bush grew up in Columbiana, Ohio, and graduated from Columbiana High School. Lorie holds an Associate of Applied Business from Kent State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University, as well as her 4th and 5th grade Generalist Certificate and Reading K-12 Endorsement from Walsh University. Lorie has excellent customer service, organization, and clerical skills, having worked in the fields of banking, teaching, and office management. She is an amateur beekeeper and enjoys creating pottery, reading, and gardening in her spare time. Lorie currently resides in East Rochester, Ohio with her husband of 25 years. She has two grown sons who reside in the area as well.

Backup Building Official, Plans Examiner & Inspector

Fred grew up in the Youngstown area and graduated from North High School. Fred has been in the construction industry for over 40 years. He started as a drywall finisher and after 20 years, he become a project supervisor for residential and commercial construction. Wanting to learn more about the safety and why buildings are constructed the way they are, he began studying the code. Fred now holds 36 certifications and has the highest certification that is achievable through ICC, Master Code Professional. Fred also holds 10 certifications through the State of Ohio. Fred currently resides in Austintown with his wife Carla of 46 years.

Mike Wildermuth

Michael Wildermuth

Master Plans Examiner

Mike Wildermuth, AIA, is a registered Architect and Master Plans Examiner with over 45 years of global experience, focusing on code review and analysis, interpretation, and application. With a strong technical administrative background and particular emphasis on building codes, design, and constructability, through his career Mike has been responsible for managing and mentoring architecture/technical/construction personnel and services, as well as providing plans examining, code consulting and analysis services to a variety of public building departments and private sector clients. He has taught building code and standards classes at Ursuline College and North Coast College since 1994, has served as an expert witness in court actions, and served on ICC/IBC code creation and code change committees. Mike currently provides Contract Plans Examining Services to several local and regional building departments, serves as City and Village Architect and on Design Review Boards and Planning Commissions for several local communities, and is also currently a Senior Associate and Technical Director for a locally based Internationally Ranked Architecture Firm.

Daniel D’Agostino

Daniel grew up in Cleveland Heights, and South Euclid Ohio. He graduated from Cathedral Latin High school. Daniel also holds a Business Degree from Cuyahoga Community College. He is a highly skilled and focused professional with extensive experience in all phases of building construction, including project management, quality assurance, and customer service. Daniel holds both an electrical and building plans examiner certification from the State of Ohio. His ICC certifications include Property Maintenance Inspector, Residential and Commercial Building Inspector, Residential and Commercial Electrical Inspector, and Commercial Mechanical Inspector. His State of Ohio Certifications include Residential Building Inspector, Building Inspector, Electrical Safety Inspector, R.B.O., and Interim CBO. Daniel resides in Russell Township, Geauga County, with his wife of twenty-seven years. He has two grown children and two step children. Daniel is a breeder of Great Danes, enjoys reading and working on home improvement projects. He also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and coaching CYO Baseball and St. Pascals Travel Baseball as well.
